Course Description

This course is designed to prepare students for employment as Maintenance Level Technicians. Students will learn processes and procedures for running an efficient shop, proper vehicle inspection protocols, changing oil and filters, lubrication, and the use of All Data (online shop manual system), digital volt olm meters, BG fluid exchange machines, and how to properly use a scan tool in data collection/coding from vehicle computer systems. Students will learn theory, operation, diagnosis, adjustment and repair of current braking, steering, and suspension systems as used on current automobiles, light trucks, and SUVs. The course will conclude with students learning tire pressure monitoring systems, tire service, and wheel alignment.
